During her college career at the University of Georgia Kelli worked as a server for a catering company. Her perseverance and expanded knowledge in the industry throughout the past 20 years has given her the experience needed to lead the sales team at Palate Catering & Design as Director of Sales. Kelli has been with Palate since 2016 and her responsibilities include generating revenue by promoting catering sales. She oversees all inside and outside sales processes, plans events, and designs event specific menu packages. One of Kelli’s favorite events was hosting food for the Capitol Records Super Bowl party here in Atlanta in January 2019. Kelli is a true leader of the company mission statement. When asked her favorite part she replied, “Leaving lasting impressions — because I want to make sure every client that we serve wants to tell everyone they know what a great experience they had working with Palate, whether it be a wedding, social party, or corporate event.” Honesty & timeliness are two very important values to Kelli and she holds the sales team accountable while inspiring them to succeed.
Foodie Facts: Ten years ago Kelli took a trip to Costa Rica where her culinary skills were inspired. She learned from the locals how to pick local fruits and vegetables, season based on local culture and prepare with local flare. It was an experience that she cherishes to this day.
Fun Facts: Kelli is terrified of helium balloons but climbing Machu Picchu is on her bucket list.
